עזאני לאחר 30 שנה בשירות הציבורי האמין מתחילת המרוץ בנצחונו המוחץ.

כצפוי הביס עמוס עזאני (58), נציב השב”ס לשעבר את קרן כצמן (45), וזכה בבחירות לראשות המועצה מקומית אבן יהודה, לאחר פרישתו של גדי כרמלי ראש המועצה היוצא.

עזאני לאחר 30 שנה בשירות הציבורי האמין מתחילת המרוץ בנצחונו המוחץ. עד לפני כחודש התמודדו על תפקיד ראשות המועצה רבעה מועמדים בהם ראש המועצה היוצא גדי כרמלי, והררי אברהם,

אולם בעקבות ההתפתחויות והאווירה בישוב פרשו השניים והותירו את הזירה, כאמור, לקרן כצמן עולה מארה”ב בראש הרשימה ” קרן אור בפוליטקה”, מול עזאני שהתמודד ברשימה על מפלגתית “אבן בדרך אחרת”.

עזאני עמוס, זכה ב69.7% (אחוזים) מכלל הקולות הכשרים.

קרן כצמן, צברה 30.3% (אחוזים) מכלל הקולות הכשרים.
